This year, VOSKER was invited to be part of the Collision Conference in Toronto. Collision is known for being one of the world’s largest tech conferences where people learn, network, and gain immense exposure. The EVP and Chief Growth Officer of VOSKER, Danny Angers represented the organization on this global stage.
Across three days, Danny participated in the Mentor Hour, the Growth Summit, and spoke at the Centre Stage. At the Mentor Hour, he sat down with eight young entrepreneurs to answer their questions about the various challenges one encounters while scaling a start-up. The small setting was ideal to give each participant the attention and guidance they needed.
The Growth Summit had over 85 young entrepreneurs attending and Danny spoke to them about using the power of networking to get what they want. He shared insights on how VOSKER was able to acquire over $160 million in funding and scale up even during the pandemic. It was exciting being able to reach out to so many curious entrepreneurs at once and provide them with insights that they may carry for a long time.
Finally, at the Centre Stage, we had the honor of being able to share VOSKER’s incredible and exponential growth story in front of peers from across the globe. Danny presented the vision behind the VOSKER cameras, our omnichannel strategy to leverage global partnerships, and how we were able to capture the global market. We are on our way to discovering even more use cases for the cameras, and talking about the possibilities that our technology holds on a huge podium to over 500 people, was an incredible experience.
During this time, the VOSKER team made great connections and learned a lot about the up-and-coming technologies. We were especially impressed by the planning of the event and how many fantastic brands were represented from all around the world. We are looking forward to returning next year!
Thank you to everyone at the Conference who interacted with us and showed interest in our journey.
