Do you want to keep an eye on a specific spot whenever you want? Some VOSKER security cameras offer different features: the On-Demand operation mode with the VKX and the Live-Streaming with the V300 Series. Let’s see how each works.

On-Demand with the VKX

Thanks to the On-Demand operation mode in the VOSKER app, you can easily request photos or 15-second videos from your VKX, without waiting for movement detection. The camera will execute your request immediately, and you should get the image in your app within a few minutes. The On-Demand mode is not a live-streaming feature.

How to switch to the On-Demand mode

  1. Access the VOSKER app.
  2. Press the Cameras tab.
  3. Press the three dots next to your VKX.
  4. Select Settings.
  5. In the operation mode, switch from Standard to On-demand.
  6. The setting will change when the camera syncs again with the servers. To speed up the process, you can simply press the TEST button on the camera.
  7. Request an image by pressing the On-Demand button in the gallery.

WARNING: The On-Demand mode requires the camera to be ready for any request at any time, which can consume battery life faster than the standard mode.

Live-Streaming with the V300 Series

The V300 Series’ live-streaming feature allows you to start a live session without any movement detection. This comes in handy when the camera sends an alert, and you want to keep monitoring the action. Unlike the On-demand mode, there is almost no delay. Once the live session is over, it is recorded in your app.

How to use the Live-Streaming

  1. Spot your V300 model on the main page of the VOSKER app.
  2. Press the yellow button with the camera icon to start a live-streaming session.
  3. To stop the session, press the square button.

WARNING: For optimal performance, you need a security plan and the live-streaming add-on. Your camera and mobile device should also have a good battery level and signal.
