When the cameras started rolling in Hollister, California, one brave little girl stepped into the spotlight. Rubi, who loves pizza and dreams of being a police officer, got the chance to live out that dream by catching a pizza thief with the help of the Hollister Police Department and several VOSKER VKX cellular security cameras.

This special project was part of the Big Dreams Tour, a program created by social entrepreneur and motivational entertainer James Orrigo in partnership with the Children’s Cancer Research Fund. The tour helps children battling cancer bring their imaginations to life through music videos, animation, and storytelling, giving them the chance to dream big, create, and inspire others.
Turning Big Dreams into Real Moments

"Each child’s dream is different," Orrigo said. "Our goal is to help them tell their story in a way that brings joy and connection to everyone around them. For Rubi, that meant putting on a badge, working with her local police officers, and saving the day in her own movie. The VOSKER VKX cameras made filming so much easier. We could capture all the action without needing to set up power or Wi-Fi and move quickly from one scene to the next."

For Orrigo and his wife, Kristin, who lead these creative adventures, the Big Dreams Tour is about giving families moments of laughter and hope as they persevere through challenging circumstances, reminding everyone of the power of imagination.
VOSKER Cameras Behind the Scenes

Known for their ability to monitor remote locations without Wi-Fi or electricity, the VOSKER VKX cellular camera system proved to be just as valuable behind the scenes of this production. Compact, portable, and completely wireless, the cameras were perfect for filming in multiple locations and capturing every pizza-theft chase, police high-five, and proud smile along the way.

"The team at VOSKER was proud to see our technology used in such a meaningful and creative way," said Pierre Charrière, Director of Marketing at VOSKER. "Our cameras are often used for job sites, remote properties, and construction monitoring, but this project shows how versatile they can be and how technology can help create moments of happiness and connection."
A Day to Remember

For Rubi and her family, this wasn’t just a film shoot; it was a celebration. From her favorite pizza spot, Valley Pizzeria, to her time working with local officers, every moment was filled with laughter and excitement. The final video is a keepsake the family can cherish forever, a reminder that joy and imagination have no limits.
Through the Big Dreams Tour, children like Rubi get to step into the spotlight, share their creativity, and remind everyone that big dreams are worth chasing.
