UNDERSTANDING V150 LED PATTERNS

NORMAL LED PATTERN

Powering ON and checking for signal strength
The normal power ON sequence of the status light is as follows:

  • Red-orange-green (twice): powering ON.
  • Blinking green: your camera is searching for a signal. This can take up to 5 minutes.
  • Steady green, orange or red for 30 seconds: your camera has found the signal. The color depends on the signal strength in your area.
  • A red delay light should start blinking for about 30 seconds.
  • All lights turn off: your camera is ready to capture a photo.

Once the signal is found, the status light will remain a steady color.

  • Green: good signal.
  • Orange: fair signal.
  • Red: poor signal.

Check out this article for more information on “How to improve your device connectivity”.

Taking and transmitting a photo
Here is the sequence your status light will follow when capturing and transmitting a photo:

  • Normal power ON sequence: camera is getting ready.
  • All lights are off: ready to capture a photo.
  • Steady green: capturing a photo.
  • Steady orange: transmitting a photo.
  • All lights turn off: ready to capture another photo.

Updating Firmware
Here is the sequence to expect from your status light during a firmware update:

  • Red-orange-green (twice): powering ON.
  • Blinking green: searching for a signal.
  • Blinking orange every fraction of a second (really quick): firmware updating.
  • All lights turn off: the camera is restarting.
  • Red-orange-green (twice): powering ON.
  • All lights turn off: ready to capture a photo.

*Important note: your camera must never be powered OFF during a firmware update. Always ensure to have full battery life when updating your firmware.

LED PATTERNS INDICATING AN ISSUE

Low Battery
If your camera has low battery, the status light will go through the following sequence:

  • Red-orange-green (twice): powering ON.
  • Blinking orange (rather than go steady): low battery indicator.

How to resolve the issue: You may try charging the V-LIT-B2 battery pack to resolve this issue. Make sure you have selected the correct battery setting in your VOSKER app.

Note: Make sure in your App Camera Settings > Advanced Configuration > Power Source is set to V-LIT-B2.

Very low or dead batteries
Straight to blinking red at power ON: very low or dead batteries.
If the status light starts blinking red right away without going through the standard power ON sequence, then your camera is indicating that the batteries are either very low or dead. The red blinking can sometimes be faint.

SIM card issue
If your camera is having a SIM card issue, the status light will go through the following sequence:

  • Red-orange-green (twice): powering ON.
  • Blinking green: searching for signal. Roughly 20 seconds.
  • Blinking red status and delay light: SIM card issue detected.

The issue could be caused by your SIM card being incorrectly inserted, damaged, or defective. It could also indicate a modem error. For this case, please contact VOSKER support team for us to fix the issue or take the necessary steps.

DSP failure
Your camera has experienced a DSP failure if the status light goes through the following sequence:

  • Red-orange-green (twice): powering ON.
  • Slow blinking green (every 3-4 seconds): DSP failure.

This means that the camera was powered OFF during a firmware update. You will need to contact VOSKER support team for further assistance.

Orange lockup
Your camera is experiencing orange lockup if it goes through the following sequence when taking and transmitting a photo:

  • Normal power ON sequence: the camera is getting ready.
  • All lights are off: ready to capture a photo.
  • Steady green: capturing a photo.
  • Steady orange does not turn off for more than 5 minutes while transmitting a photo.
  • Status light does not turn off: not going back to ready for capture mode.

If you have not received a photo after 5 minutes and the status light remains steady orange, you will need to contact VOSKER support team for further assistance.
