• 10-15 minutes of your time

How do I install the firmware?

Download the firmware

Installation using a PC

1. Open the downloaded .zip file by double-clicking on it.
2. Extract the files from the .zip file.
3. Copy the extracted files into the SD card.
   It is essential to copy the files AND NOT the folder:
   a. Good: “SD Card: \ Files”
   b. Not good: “SD Card: \ V1.3.0-1_US_MAC.0x.0x \ Files”
4. Make sure the camera is turned OFF.
5. Insert the SD card into the camera.
6. Turn the camera on.
7. Wait until the LED status light completely turns OFF. It can take a few minutes.
8. In the app, under Camera/Status, check if the firmware version is right:
   1. V300: 2.2.0-6
   2. V300 Ultimate: 1.3.0-1

Installation using a MAC

1. Format the SD card (Format : MS-DOT(FAT).
   You may watch this tutorial on YouTube.
2. Double-click on the .zip file.
3. Copy the extracted files onto the SD card.
   It is important to copy the files AND NOT the folder:
   a. Good “SD Card: \ Files”
   b. Not Good “SD Card: \ V1.3.0-1_US_MAC.0x.0x \ Files”
4. Click to open the file : MacOS_PrepareSDCard.command.
5. Eject the SD card from the computer.
6. Make sure the camera is turned OFF.
7. Insert the SD card into the camera.
8. Turn the camera on.
9. Wait until the LED status light completely turns OFF. It can take a few minutes.
10. In the app, under Camera/Status, check if the firmware version is right:
    1. V300: 2.2.0-6
    2. V300 Ultimate: 1.3.0-1
