How to install your camera:

Optimal installation is as follows:
- About 3 feet from the ground or at the subject’s height.
- The camera should be installed between 25 and 35 feet from the targeted area, aiming parallel to the ground.
- Adjust the motion sensor sensitivity setting to about 75% as a starting point.
- It is also best to aim the camera to the North to avoid back lighting and false detection. Backlighting will cause bad picture quality and if sun rays directly hit the optic lens, it can damage the CMOS sensor.

Please note that if the red BUSY light stays on all the time and your camera seems to be frozen, it may be in an error state. To correct this problem, leave the camera off without external battery or power of any kind. Also put the front of the camera facing the ground, after about 24 to 48 hours the BUSY light should be off and once it is off the camera should work again without any problems.
How the BUSY light works:
If your camera is a V200, the red BUSY light will come on when connected to a 12V power source as it is charging the internal battery. The red BUSY light will also light up when the camera takes a picture, and sends it to your account.
Please note that if the red BUSY light stays on all the time and your camera seems to be frozen, it may be in an error state. To correct this problem, leave the camera on to discharge with external battery out. Also put the front of the camera facing the ground, after about 24 to 48 hours the BUSY light should be off and once it is off the camera should work again without any problems.

SD card:
The formats of SD cards compatible with our cameras are from 2GB up to 32GB (SD/SDHC, class 10). We provide a free 8GB SD card with the purchase of a camera. When the SD card is at full capacity, the camera automatically erases the first photo / video taken on the SD card and replaces it with the last photo / video take. BE CAREFUL, your photos are never lost. Those erased on the SD card remain available in
the VOSKER application onto the cloud system.

Troubleshooting
My camera doesn’t power up:
V100 and V200
- Try to power the camera with brand new alkaline batteries, a lithium battery pack (if applicable), a 12V external battery or any 12V power source to find out if the problem is caused by a weak power source.
- Make sure you don’t use NiMh rechargeable batteries (AA) as they can only supply 1.2V. Alkaline batteries supply 1.5V. VOSKER cameras require at least 7V to work properly.
- If you can, measure your batteries’ voltage with a voltmeter. Over 1.35V each is good.
- Make sure that the battery contacts are touching properly (top right and left). If not, gently pry the metal plate to restore good contact.
Camera power
What influences battery life?
V100 and V200
- Infrared LEDs consume a lot of energy. Batteries consume 10 times less during day time photos.
- The VIDEO mode consumes more energy than the PHOTO mode.
- Cold weather also influences the battery life. A 12 volt battery is the best for winter; lithium battery pack is also less affected by temperature than alkaline batteries.
- The number of photos taken daily (day time and night time) influences battery life.
Possible types of camera power supply:
V100 and V200
- AA alkaline batteries (non-rechargeable), 6 pcs.
- VOSKER rechargeable lithium battery, #V-LIT-BC
- VOSKER lithium battery, #V-LIT-B
- 12V DC power supply
